Via Privé Review

So we're four months into 2012 and if you're like me you've probably scrapped all that resolution stuff (3.5 months ago). One of the things that we all pledge to do is eat less and exercise more.  I'm the first to admit that I am not doing so great with that (probably never will). Most of us have to work really hard to keep our figures, then there are those people (like my little sister) who do very little to keep slim and trim.

When the opportunity arose to review products from Via Privé I was so excited! They offer workout wear that is both fabulous and comfortable. My little sister was kind enough to model this incredible outfit:

The logo (a Bengali Om), which I love, "depicts an open, resting heart, which represents love and happiness, while its sideways resting position symbolizes peace and serenity, bringing to life the perfect balance." Isn't that powerful?

This yoga inspired apparel is designed to move. From yoga pants, crops, and shorts to tanks, tops, and sports bras - they've got you covered! Via Privé also donates one article of clothing to child in need for every order received, "Buy One Give One." Plus shipping is always free (in the US and Canada). I really dig everything that Via Privé stands for, social consciousness at its best.

Check out the stitching, very well made
There is nothing like looking good to get you motivated, so why don't you hop over to the Via Privé website and pick up so new exercise apparel. You can also follow on Twitter and like them on Facebook.

I received the outfit pictured in this post for free. I was not required to write a positive review. The views expressed are the opinion on Just Say I Told You So.

Purex Crystals & Jockey - Review and Giveaway

With the New Year off to a running start, I thought it was a good time for me to get running too! Well walking is more like it, but like most people, I too want to keep moving in 2012.

Jockey was reading my mind when they created the Tech Terry Performance Sports Bra! This sport bra has moisture-wicking to keep you cool and dry while you work up a sweat. It even has a key pocket inside, so that you don't have to hold those pesky keys while you work out. Breathable mesh panels and a soft bottom band, makes this bra ultra comfortable.

One of the challenges to washing sports bras and sportswear in general is that the oils in traditional fabric softeners foils the wicking process, but Purex has solved that problem. Purex Crystals is a different kind of fabric softener, it's 92% natural and it doesn't contain oils at all, so you can wash just about anything, with no problem. The best part is, you put the crystals in at the start of the wash, so there's no need to listen for the rinse cycle and no more fabric softener balls either. The fresh scent is INCREDIBLE and long-lasting too!  The towels that I washed more than two weeks ago are still just as fresh today as when I took them out of the dryer!
Purex and Jockey want you to start the New Year off right, so they're offering 20% off your next Jockey order.  You gotta try this sports bra!

Jockey and Purex are so super cool that they are also letting me giveaway a bottle of Purex Crystals and a Jockey Sports Bra to one lucky winner!  Enter below:

Review: Hot Pants

I received a pair of Zaggora's Hot Pants for review. When they arrived in the mail, I thought they looked like biker shorts - wetsuit style!

Hot Pants are designed to make you hot. You can wear them while you work out, underneath your clothes, or even while you're bumping around the house. Hot Pants cause your body's natural heat to reflect back on itself, causing it to flush out the toxins and help break down cellulite. All you have to do is wear them 30 minutes a day to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

I have worn them several times while taking walks and they do make you HOT! Since my thighs are a bit "plump" they were a little bit noisy at first (imagine the swish of fabric rubbing together...well you get the picture). I haven't begun to see results yet (I also haven't worn them regularly enough to see results either), but we'll see what happens.

I encourage you to visit the Hot Pants website to read for yourself. You can also follow them on Twitter. Check them out on Facebook they're giving away a trip to Rio and 500 pairs of Hot Pants!

Come on...what do you have to lose besides a few inches? 2012 will be here before you know it...you might as well smooth out your thighs so that you can look "hot" next year!

Review: Sculptz by Silkies

Every since I was a little girl, I have always loved pantyhose. Different colors, textures, sheer, opaque, I love them all!  Now that the weather has cooled, it's time to cover up those legs.

Silkies Sculptz offer a fashionable way to "flatter your legs and your figure." With their unique tummy control panels, Sculptz will slim out the less desirable areas (if you know what I mean).  They look great with boots, heels, and flats. You can wear them under pants for extra control or to show off your legs with your favorite skirt!

I received a pair of Sculptz Animal-Print Tights to review. The pattern is very tasteful, not at all overwhelming or in your face, but more importantly, they're comfy. Comfort is really important to me. I wore them to work and didn't ever feel confined, restricted, or stuffed.

Sculptz come in sizes from Small to XX-Large and retail for about $15.00. You may even get a discount if you buy 3 more pair off their website at www.silkies.com.

I received a free pair of Sculpz from Silkies. I was not required to write a positive review, this is solely the opinion of Just Say I Told You So!

YESTERDAYS RECYCLE SHIRT - NachoMama Tees

What's more comfortable than a comfy t-shirt?  A comfy t-shirt that you wore yesterday! LOL  That's what I thought when I selected Yesterday's Recycle Shirt from NachoMama Tees.  No I didn't wear the shirt two days in a row (in case you were wondering)!

I took this comfy shirt with me on vacation, because it is made from super soft cotton, which I was grateful for considering that my shoulders were sunburned.

NachoMama Tees has a great selection of funny shirts just like this one. There are Movie Tees, Offensive Tees, Vintage Tees, and more. They even have a $6.99 Daily Shirt Deal, how cool is that?  If you subscribe to their newsletter you can keep track of the deals everyday!

You can find Yesterdays Recycle Shirt in the All T-shirts catagory and it's currently selling for $15.29.

I received this t-shirt free from NachoMama Tees. I was not required to write a positive review. This review is solely the opinion of Just Say I Told You So.

Tom & Jerry T-Shirt from Crazy Dog

Don't you just love throwback cartoons?  Life was much simpler back then. Ahh the memories!  My little sister (well she's a grown-up but she's still little to me) has always loved cartoons and she still does.  So I picked out a Tom & Jerry T-shirt for her from Crazy Dog T-shirts.  Isn't it cute:

The lettering has a vintage flair that makes it look "old school."  The cotton is soft and it washes well (with little or no shrinkage).  Crazy Dog has a great selection of vintage tees with characters like the Care Bears and My Little Pony.  If cartoons are not really your thing they also have a ton of funny tees too, which are great conversation starters...you too can be the life of the party! LOL

The great thing about t-shirt is you can never have too many...they go with everything!  You can get the Tom & Jerry tee on the Crazy Dog website under All TShirts for $16.99.

I received this t-shirt free from Costume Squad. I was not required to write a positive review. This review is solely the opinion of Just Say I Told You So.

Smore Marshmallow T-Shirt from Costume Squad

My daughter LOVES t-shirts!  If tees were the only article of clothing she could buy ever again, she would be a very happy teen!  Needless to say she was totally stoked when I told her that I was going to be receiving a free tee from Costume Squad.

As soon as the package arrived, she confiscated my T-shirt!!!  When I came home last night, she was wearing it...once you have children is anything every truly yours again? Anyway, she has fallen for this Smore Marshmallow tee:

In her words "the cotton is soft, I really like that the neckline doesn't choke me out, and the image rocks!" So there you have it...from the mouths of babes!  I have to agree with her, the cotton is soft (even before washing) and the image is really cute. We don't agree on very much these days, especially when it comes to clothing, so this is HUGE!

You can find the Smore Marshmallow t-shirt on the Costume Squad site under "All t-shirts" for $16.99.  They have a great selection, from 80's t-shirts to Tuxedo t-shirts - there is something for everyone!

I received this t-shirt free from Costume Squad. I was not required to write a positive review. This review is solely the opinion of Just Say I Told You So.
