In my other life, I am a Body Love + Pleasure Advocate. I spend my days helping women to enjoy, explore, and hear the wisdom of their own bodies.

I work with mothers, wives, and sisters who struggle to love and accept their bodies. Women who feel uncomfortable in their own skin. Women who do not like the woman they meet in the mirror each morning. Women who often feel dissatisfied, disconnected, and disinterested in life, in their relationships,  and in themselves. 

My work is about having shame-free conversations about subjects that should be shameless. And I am committed to doing this work, because I want every woman to love herself, love her body, and love her life. 

Through this work, I am living my purpose.

It's that time of year again!

The 2016 Progressive Insurance Los Angeles Boat Show is coming up next week! February 25-28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Burton W. Chace Park in Marina Del Rey. 

Four consecutive days of boats, marine accessories, educational seminars, boating lessons, and kids' zone! 

There will be hundreds of boats for sale, if you're in the market. And sailing simulator, if you've got dreams of life on the high seas. Of course, the kids will have plenty to do too, because there will be toy boat building, balloon artists, and a ton of other fun surprises!

A short brown bootie, a two-tone messenger bag, dainty necklace, and 2 chunky rings, set off this simple fashion-forward ensemble.

The second look is a bit more edgy. A loose fit textured cardigan with a wide open collar, layered with a soft black two-button tunic and a simple solid black tank. Matched with a pair of swanky shiny black leggings. And a pair of smokin' hot deep red bootie, a two-tone bag, black rose studs, and musician worthy sunglasses.

I was a coffee junkie for a long time. Then I went off the stuff for years. But lately, I have been jonesing... bad.  I love the smell and the taste. There's just nothing like a hot cup of joe - any time of the day.

Peet's Coffee & Tea has recently introduced a new light roast called Columbia Luminosa.  This is the very first time that Peets has ventured into the light roast realm. 

Let me first say that I love how the name conjures images and feelings of lightness for me. And the flavor does not disappoint. I'm so grateful to be back on the juice because Columbia Luminosa is a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y deliciouso!

The flavor is mild and slightly nutty. The finish is smooth and silky. I typically take my coffee with cream and sugar, but for the sake of exploration I tried Columbia Luminosa black as well, just to see if I could stomach it. And yes, it stands up on it's own very well, without too much bitterness + while maintaining it's quiet boldness. 

I have enjoyed plenty of coffee over the years, but this one has quickly become one of my favorites.  For the past several weeks this is the ONLY coffee I have had. It's actually been quite challenging to stave off the craving!

I have always enjoyed art. Art is relative. It looks different to everyone, with art you see whatever you see. And it makes you feel however you feel.
